Writing Philosophy:
This is the culmination of my year in this class. It describes my feelings about writing, as well as my reactions toward previous essays and papers I have written.

Synthesis AP Essay Prompt:
An essay in which I used multiple sources to support a thesis.
Rhetorical Analysis AP Essay Prompt:
Using several elements of the English language, I wrote an essay to support a thesis about the author's ideas.
Persuasive/Argumentative Research Paper:
The beginnings of an argumentative speech presented to the class.
Reading Journal Excerpts:
The first excerpt is from a journal entry regarding "Their Eyes Were Watching God", the second regarding "Invisible Man". Simply the thoughts and observations of an attentive reader.
Historical Fiction:
First, journal responses from an online activity for information about the Vietnam War. Then, a historical fiction piece from the point of view of a soldier in Vietnam, based on my research.
Wildcard:
I chose to return to a first draft college essay and completely change it.
Wildcard Reflection:
A discussion of the changes made from first draft college essay to final draft wildcard piece.
